On January 17th 2010 I wrote a blog post on how to put some markers in your charts that work together with a graphical user interface, i. e. form controls. In this post we developed a chart and a scroll bar where the marker changed with every click on the scroll bar.

This thread is for further discussions, questions regarding this post, suggestions what could have been explained better or simply for ideas in which calculation models you would use this approach.
