On May, 13th 2009 I posted an article on how to request web data with Excel web queries. In this article I wrote about how to access the Dow Jones Index on Yahoo!Finance and extract it to an Excel table.

This thread is for further discussions, questions regarding this post, suggestions what could have been explained better or simply for ideas in which calculation models you would use this approach.
